01
Context before the quote
Product intent, artwork, quantities, destinations, timing, and constraints arrive as one scoped opportunity.
For production partners
MerchandAise connects qualified manufacturers, decorators, and fulfillment partners to scoped merchandise programs. Share exact capabilities first; approved partners use Supplier Center for quotes, proofs, production updates, and fulfillment handoffs.

01 — Operating model
The operating model is designed to give production partners the context and evidence needed to make a confident decision, then keep the approved state intact.
01
Product intent, artwork, quantities, destinations, timing, and constraints arrive as one scoped opportunity.
02
Quotes, digital proofs, genuine-sample approval, and production packages stay tied to the exact approved version.
03
Production commitments, quality evidence, shipment milestones, and exceptions remain visible without a parallel inbox thread.
04
Buyers work with MerchandAise. Production partners can focus on quality and delivery without direct-buyer coordination or exposure of private terms.
02 — Qualification
Access expands only as the relationship and operating model are qualified.
01
Use the supplier application to describe categories, regions, production methods, certifications, capacity, lead times, and contact ownership.
02
MerchandAise reviews commercial fit, operating readiness, quality expectations, data needs, and the first likely production workflows.
03
Approved suppliers receive the right protected access path for Supplier Center workflows and, when needed, supplier API planning.
04
Initial work should be scoped around clear categories, quantities, delivery regions, quality and timing evidence, and escalation ownership before scaling.
03 — Partner fit
We qualify partners for reliable, repeatable operations—not only one-off production capacity.
Teams with apparel, accessories, packaging, or specialty product capacity that can support defined categories and quality controls.
Embroidery, print, sublimation, engraving, transfer, and finishing partners that can support branded customization workflows.
Partners that help with kitting, packing, regional delivery, shipment evidence, and post-production operations.
Specific operating facts help us assess fit without sending you through another long discovery loop.
Core product types, customization methods, materials, size ranges, samples, minimums, and production constraints.
Where production and fulfillment can happen, expected volume bands, seasonal limits, and realistic delivery timelines.
Certifications, sustainability evidence, QA checkpoints, rework process, account ownership, and issue response expectations.
04 — After approval
The protected workspace opens after approval and keeps production activity separate from the public application.
Maintain product, material, technique, pricing, MOQ, capacity, region, lead-time, and compliance facts used for private routing.
Review the exact digital proof, provide genuine-sample evidence, and begin mass production only after the required approval.
Record commitments, QA, dispatch, tracking, delivery, and exceptions in the same operational timeline.
For technical teams
Supplier Center is the starting point. Larger approved teams can later plan versioned API handoffs for catalog, quoting, and fulfillment operations.
Start with the supplier application, share your production capabilities, regions, categories, lead times, and contact ownership, then wait for qualification review before protected Supplier Center access is enabled.
Approved suppliers use the protected supplier workspace to manage quote requests, offers, catalog readiness, proof and sample gates, fulfillment status, and operational communication.
Start with Supplier Center. Approved teams should plan a versioned API integration only when catalog, quote, or fulfillment volume makes an automated handoff useful.
There is no supplier-side platform fee at launch. The current model focuses on buyer-side merchandise margin; any future supplier service would be optional and separately agreed.
No in ordinary marketplace workflows. MerchandAise remains the buyer-facing commercial and support relationship, while supplier identity and contacts stay private except where a legal, customs, or product-safety disclosure is required.
Tell us what you make, where you operate, how you decorate or fulfill, and the constraints we should understand before sending scoped work.
